Early Stages

My coaching journey started with a strong interest in how movement, exercise, and lifestyle choices affect health and wellbeing. Early on, I focused on building a solid foundation in fitness instruction, physical activity, and healthy weight management. This period shaped how I work today — prioritising safe movement, clear communication, and helping people feel confident rather than overwhelmed. It was during these early stages that I realised coaching wasn’t just about exercise, but about understanding people, their barriers, and how to support long-term change.

Career Start

As my career developed, I progressed through higher-level qualifications in personal training, education, and exercise referral, allowing me to work with a wider range of individuals, including those with injuries, long-term conditions, and complex needs. This led me into sport rehabilitation and further academic study, where I deepened my understanding of assessment, rehabilitation, and evidence-based practice. From the start, my focus has always been on providing structured, individualised support — helping people move better, rebuild confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

My clients are diverse, but one thing unites us all:
a desire for an active & healthy life.
